yup, if you haven't looked... in the pics (after you click through the warnings) you can see the gator in the water w/ the guy's arm in his mouth.

that is some crazy sh1t...but honestly you have to be such a dumbass..im a northerner myself but i think this is a dumb yankee that goes swimming in the lake in the south and doesnt think of alligators..wtf..its not like the north bud where a damb blue gill is the most you gotta worry about..the south is crazy..

gator's are pretty common here.   i've personally seen 2 or 3 gators in that lake myself and would not go swimming in ANY swampy parts or even get out of my boat lol  

where are you at..do you live at that lake??if so thats crazy i guess but at the same time you really cant be afraid to get in the water..

exactly.  i've been swimming, tubing, wave running etc in that lake dozens of times.  gators normally stick to the edge of the water so if the guy was swimming at the edge than he's an idiot.     i live about 20 mins from that lake, 30 mins from the place he was attacked b/c it's on the clear other side of the lake near a place called "Short Stay" it's a millitary retreat location.

damn man that sucks...whatever though people swim in the ocean all the time and look at all the crazy animals out there...cant be scared but yea definetely stay away from the shore..and what are you doing snorkeling in a dirty ass lake..it didnt look too clear on the pics??

yea those things can be crazy quick in the water... that's their whole deal is be stealthy and get people or things that arent payin attention... oh well better luck next time haha

thats crazy i live in florida and i seen atleast 50 gators in my life none that big prolly about 6 feet is the biggest i seen

Ive seen about a 12ft gator in florida before at my uncles house. It ate the neighbors dog.

ive seen ema round savannah and the southern carolinas area...biggest was right about 7 feet in local fishing pond

yea we had one about 5 feet in the pond in my neighborhood........it ate all the ducks they were mallards now them ugly cancer faced ones are there
