Ran 7 times.   overall I guess I did ok.  it was my first time up there so I wasnt expecting to do great..  VIDEOS TO COME

1st run with a bogged launch (I was only trying to launch at 4k just to get the feel)
60' 2.669  - ouch lol
1\4 14.53 - ouch again lol
MPH 108

2nd run tried the 2step and learned I dont know the clutch to well
60' 2.28
1\4 13.41
MPH 112

3rd run long on the 2 step and good clutch play this time
60' 1.88
1\4 12.46
MPH 113

4th run and best of the night
60' 1.84
1\4 12.38
MPH 114.6

5th run held the 2 step for a long time built alot of boost and boiled the tires out of the whole (kinda cool actually but killed my time a little)
60' 1.94
1/4 12.44
MPH 114.7

so after the big improvements I was happier lol and showing some consistancy so I upped the boost a little bit more to a solid 23PSI ,the other passes were all at 20ish

the last 2 runs pissed me off.  because I wanted to improve and I was trying to hard and screwd my launches bad

6th  this run was up on an STi, I bogged the hell out of the launch then popped out of 3rd gear so I just tossed in 4th lagged again and went on so I was expecting to pull a high 14 lol.   and have it be known I WON STILL hahaha
60' 2.23
1/4 13.47
MPH 111.3

7th
60' 2.49
1/4 13.6
MPH 114

well that is that.   I never lost despite some bad runs.  only had one good race.  my 2nd run.  bogged the launh raced a cobra and still caught up and passed him mid track.

there were like only 2 street cars there that ran better than mine.  so I know my driving needs some help , but alot to do with the fact the car has only been up for 2 weeks so I didnt know how to drive the new clutch.   Also I think I am losing out on some power by my flash because it is super rich.  I think I would have made a little better if it was actually dynoed

I know.  with cooler than 95 degrees and a little more boost I might get close.  plus I might mess with my SAFC to adjust my tune a little for now.   I dont think ill be back up there untill late sept.  or somthing

Very not bad! The best part is it can run low numbers and STILL look sexxy pullin down the track!

Nice job Mike.  We all know that you can do better with the 60'. 1.84 isn't bad.  Are you getting that with the 2 step on?  It looks like it, but I was just curious.

Nice runs John!

That white 1G was badass too.  Although his 1-2nd shift sucked.

I bet.  I'll find out how much it takes getting used to once I install my wiring for it through DSMLink
I've never seen or heard an Avenger with a stutter box/2 step before, lol.  Then again, there's only a tniy handful of AWD turbo ones too, lol.

Anyway bro, I have a feeling that once you get used to it, you'll drop that time to at least 1.7x.  Do you have an aftermarket clutch yet?  I forget.

prob a dumb question but would a BOV help in any way?

BOV help if your leaking boost, they retain boost through the entire power band.

Mike, those were some awesome runs, sounds like you need better tires though. You roast them as soon as you get off the two step. 12.4 is still damn fast. and i'm sure with some more practice, you'll cut that time down dramatically. What i do suggest is you dyno tune, as oppose to the mail in flash. For some reason, dyno tune, are more specific to the car and the trims, and always seem to be able to squeese more power.

The videos are awesome, keep us posted.

Gus

P.s at what are you shifting? and are you dogboxing? or gently shifting? sounds like your being gentle down the track when you shift.

yea my tune is a little lacking.  The car should trap 118-119 but the car was consistantly pulling 114-115.   The tires are not spinning on my car it is the other cars your hearing.   I only spun tires one run and the car kicked sideways slightly.

dyno tune FTW... a mail in tune (in my experience) is basically the lowest level of tune you can have....   mail in - street - dyno.   so i think you could prolly be running very very low 12's if not break the 11's.

Wow the statement of the year! Don't you think he knows that, there happens to be 0 respectable dynos around here. If their were it would be the first thing we would do, not waste our time on mail in crap.

Hey Guys!!!  I'm home from vacation. Nice runs !!!!! Guess you made it to the track before me LOL.  The 50 trim on your car is running identical times to when it was on my car. I had meth, but also bad tranny. Looks good tho...congrats !!!

Yea but you were alost trapping like 124 wernt you? I am only getting 114.  my flash from turbotrix is marginal I need to play with it and up the boost more cause I should be near 119MPH and be close to 11s if not in the 11s.

I will be bringing it back up too.  Prob late sept. or oct.  I gotta learn my clutch better and work on my tune as best I can with the SAFC
