so yeah. i bought an 05 eclipse gts the other day. manual. and im not going to do anything to it yet. but when the warranty wears off i will. i have a guy that has a turbo and an intercooler hell sell me for 200$ which i know is a great deal. i think the turo is a TDO5H? im not sure i havnt studied these very much. but. i was wondering if it was possible to connect both manifolds in m v6 to the one turbo or would i have to get a twin in order for this to work. thanks in advance.

There is alot more to do in order to make a turbo work on your car. You need to do alot of research because first off it is not cheap at all. You need all of the fuel upgrades and a tuning device and also all the new piping and exhaust. Not to mention im sorry to tell you but the car you just bought is the absolute worst car to turbocharge out of all the 3g's. Because the GTS actually came with more power than the GT and one of the reason for this is that it has higher compression pistons. Now while this may seem like a good thing, when it comes to TCing the car it is the worst thing. It will make you more suceptable to knock. So IMO i would not even bother trying to put a turbo on this car. Thats just my 0.02 cents

and another random thought floating around i was curious about. what about a supercharger? or would that be the same deal as a turbo?

Same deal, you would be limited on the amount of boost you can run.

exactly. It alittle easier to install, i think. But youll be limited to boost because of the internals you have.
