I just found a forced air intake on the bay that produces 200 cfm and wires direct to battery. Any thoughts? 3 inch intake and output diameter.universal? looks a little sketchy. madmat38108.395462963

You can make one of your own for cheap by using an electric leaf blower.   Really simple but stupid

worthless eh? seems it would restrict air flow if it weren't on all the time? just why would you deem it stupid?

Any leaf blower that I've ever owned(Live on 3 acres of land w/lots of trees) has always ended up overheating everynow and then.  Being under the hood they will overheat very quickly and also being most of them are made of plastic they will melt all over the place.  Just a big mess.

dude, i've seen those "electric turbos" go up to almost 600cfm its rediculous, but Im sure they work. they used one on a civic on Import Tuner.. (I think thats the name) on TNN, or TBS or somethin SUNDAY mornings.. (you all know what Im talkin about) anyways, it was one of the big ones and it was tested for a gain of something ilke 50hp. not sure if that was to the wheels or not, but they did it. it was a Tornado, or Whirlwind, or somethin gay like that, but hey, cheep ass performance if it really works. I might try one on my SpecV just to see if they work. for only $100 or so, whats the loss? maybe they have a money back gaurantee or somethin! ha
