what the hell does that mean exactly. When have you ever seen someone have to upgrade brakes for any real reason except maybe for autox. Maybe paint calipers for looks. But what does upgrading brakes have to do with the style of the body.

I really dont like the car, but hey its not my car. And the guy obviously put alot of time and effort into it since alot of that seems like custom work.

does not get my vote as ugliest ever.  i've seen much worse.  honestly i'd say its a pretty good looking show car.  poppy color, attention to every part of the car... he never showed under the hood so he's obviously not in it for performance.    
different strokes for different folks people.    show vs. go.  it'll always be there and there will be people to critisize every step of the way, no matter who you are.
