Uh Oh....

Well i got some potentially bad news yesterday. I may be joining the unemployed world.
 
My company has been slow for the last couple months and now they are saying i may be temporarily laid off and they said theyd give me the max. ammount of hours the state allows while unemployed.
After doing the math on it i found out id still be getting about $500 a week while unemployed...isnt america great

rut row. Well good luck. But hey unemployment could be looked at as a nice vacation lol. God bless america! lol. The only time I ever got "let go" from a job I got unemployment and couldn't stand sitting at home so started waiting tables making WAYYYYY less

Well the way i figure it is if i do end up getting temporarily laid off then i can get back into trying to setup grad school which ive been wanted to do. And also have plenty of time to work on my car .
 
The good thing is that they still want me to work about 6 hours a week just so that i keep my foot in the door because they dont want me to leave.

Its nice.. Until taxes next year..  You wont be getting as much back the longer you are laid off.

yea, it's nice that they will give you 500/week.   but they are also giving illegal mexicans 100k houses for 20k! and give them every construction job that's available so that they have a job while REAL AMERICAN unemployment rates skyrocket.   this country is so f**ked it's rediculous.  and by the look of it within about 2 years there will be NO border, i can't even imagine what that will do to us.

Thats if we elect Barrack Obama. Anyone who puts that guys name on their ballet can go live in mexico for all i care. If he becomes president then i dont know what will happen to this country. That guy wants open borders, plans to get illegal imigrants greencards, and also he has a plan to remove so many troops every month from iraq. So basically hes just gonna abandon it...bad idea IMO. My original vote was for Romney, but since he is now out i really dont care. If its comes down to hillary or McCain i guess they are both equal to me. I suppose id vote for McCain but hillary still wouldnt be bad
