Upgrades?

I have a stock 99 eclipse GS.  I want to make it faster/fuel efficient.  I already upgraded from the stock air intake.  What else can I do now?  I'm more interested in making it fast/legal than fuel efficient.

yes search. But quick answer. Without alot of $$ its difficult to make that car fast

Headers and Exhaust, that is about it unless you want to turbo. I suppose you could do cams too but that would hurt the G mileage.
