I have a 97 mitsubishi eclipse; recently the driver and passenger side (front and rear) floors are soaked with water (or at least what I think is water), however, I cannot find out how it is entering the vehicle. There is no water trail from any of the panels, nor from the sunroof, it seems as it is coming from the center floor of the vehicle.... Does any one have any experience with this problem?
Thanks

Are you sure it's not the moisture from the ac/heater unit inside the vehicle? Normally it should drain outside but sometimes it gets clogged and you get the moisture inside the vehicle; mainly in the passenger floor board.

i agree with what he said. Most of the time if you have water on your floor its either a leak, or a clog in the ac system. Its pretty hard to pinpoint however.

no its not the ac. I have the solution, the same thing happened with my 03 lancer oz rally. I checked all the door linings etc. but i found the water didnt start seaping in until i sprayed the hose down the windshield. I took it to a dealer and there is some plug near the windshield that had come off or something .Take it to a dealer they will replace it for cheap or under warranty. Do this quick or else your carpet will mildew

I had a similiar problem with my 95 TSi, it turned out that where there was a weld(?) on my floorboard water was gushing in when id hit puddles. A little bit of hot glue subdued the issue... I mean, its temporary... but it worx lol
