Weird noise

Hey guys,

I have an '02 eclipse and sometimes I hear this weird squealing noise when I drive inbetween 35 and 45 mph. It's only when I have my foot on the gas because when I take it off or brake, it stops. I've taken it to the dealership a bunch of times, but they keep telling me they don't hear it. I've even tried changing my gas octane. Does anyone have any suggestions?

how many miles does your car have? it could be one of the belts.......im also just paronoid of belts because my timing belts just broke.....

I have about 63,000 on it....I got my 60,000 mile service and had my timing belt changed. It's such an annoying noise. That sucks that your belt broke. Were you driving it?

hey man i have a problem just like that, but i only hear a squeak when i dont hit the gas, and it sounds like someing is rubbing against my wheels, do you know what that could be

could be mice

Have the same noiese at about 2000rpm when i remove my foot from the gas. The moment i hit the pedal the noise is gone. Seems to come from somewhere under the hood or around the wheel on the passenger side. Any ideas?
