Please tell me that setup is not venting.

header and down pipe will let you spool faster. an electronic boost controller may be nice (a lot of people say it's the same thing just more expensive but i've personally ridden in my friends WRS pushing 12lbs on a MBC and once he swapped it to a EBC you can easily tell a difference) port and polish the intake, or get an MSD ignition.

ummm not quite. there is no difference other than how you controll boost. meaning being lazy and doing it from in cab with a digital screen or the PITA way to get out and turn a screw. it does NOT change performance in any way but going from MBC to EBC

well perhaps the boost was automatically adjusted higher than it was w/ the mbc b/c there was definately a difference. he said it was the same boost setting but who knows... he's not the sharpest marble in the bag

it had to be different because it WILL NOT make a difference in power if the boost levels stay the same

egh, oh well... you already have a pretty nice engine/turbo set up... you may wanna start on suspention work and start beatin the opponents around the corners

The guy is venting. Thats something to do! Get either a recirculation kit for the Greddy Type RS or just get a Greddy Type S and hook that damn pipe back up. Speaking of that... i need to do the same because the previous owner was a d-bag.

how much would that cost sebba..cuz the previous owner of my car did not have a vented setup

Well you can find the pipe someplace and you can get a recirculation kit from here http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=5920& then all you need is the pipe to join the 2.

Well if your not venting then you have nothing to worry about.

do you have an upgraded fuel pump, and what psi are you running?

i have a 255 fuel pump and i norm. run about 18-22 psi but i have a boost leak right now so im only running 10 - 12 psi

I think he means what PSI are you running hte fuel pump at. If you dont have a FPR then you will need one to increase your MPG and it will run better with it.
