I have a Greddy Profec B boost controller and it doesn't seem to make a difference if I turn the low or high up or down. I'm assuming that I should notice the boost change higher or lower but it always pulls about 15 lb when I get on it. Is this wrong or am I retarded?

You have to disconnect and plug your on-board boost sensor. Thia line shoudl be connected to a manifold on the firewall.

this could be... a lot of crap. most of the things that are running through my mind are due to incorrect installation.

The more I get into this car, the more that wouldn't surprise me. If I ever find the person who had this car before my brother in law....I know there was already a thread about crappy owners a week or two ago so I'll stop here. lol

basically lol. they have these great cars that treat you just as well as you treat them but get pissed when they break b/c they half ass everything. and here is the perfect example, i made the post b/c of a particular member had been taking short cut after short cut after short cut on his gs-t and i kept warning him that all this crap was going to catch up to him. his motor blew a copule weeks ago. don't just jump into something unles you plan on doing it thuroughly, and correctly the first time. that's the way i see it.

I agree 100%. I bought my 97 spyder GST about 6 months ago and have had to go back and fix problem after problem with this car. The guy who had it before me didnt understand that if you dont maintain this kind of car It wont run. The car will be well worth it after I finish everything but up to that point... pisses me off someone takes a nice car and complains about it never working right when they dont take care of it

No I didn't. Right now the car is just the way I got it except for the wheels. I put those on about a week after I got it. I think I'm going to take everything out and start over, it might be less painfull in the long run. At least I didn't pay much for the car, so I guess carma decided I can afford to fix it.
