Got my first EVO and it's an 01' evo 7 from japan and yes it's right hand drive(had to be different). anyone have one of these? i have some questions for you regarding mods and should i leave it stock or go nuts with it. i would like to see the face of the motor vehicle clerk when i give them a japanese title. any info will be greately appreciated.

As you can see i have a lot of questions regarding this car. does the japanese spec Evo have anymore H.P than the U.S version? and how do i get in touch with EMonz? thanks for all your output

Yes, i believe the JDM EVO has more power than the US EVO. Also beings that they never sold the EVO VII in the US... there really isnt anything to compare it to. The closest thing is the VIII

yeah all jap cars pretty much have more hp then us autobahn or some **** some cars have minimal some cars have like 20-100 lol like when cali started selling us skyline they were lowered by like 80 hp..? iono

Hey dusty, thanks first of all to all you guys for the warm welcome. i am having a hard time getting insurance for the car and i only have a japanese title. it looks like i have to drive it on dealer plates only. cannot register this car. i will post some pics soon. cannot find my digital camera. only have a video clip in my phone. the car has Volk rims on it right now and an HKS intake otherwise everything in the engine bay is stock. the whole interior is carbon fiber, dash, door pannels, hood and trunk lid.

Most, but not all. The GTO is a detuned 3000gt. Also we never recvied the Evo 7 here so their is really nothing to compair it too, but the UDSM Evo 8 and Evo 9 are faster stock for stock.

Even JDM supras are slower than USDM supras
