Will my car still sound the same?

Right now about 70% of my exhaust is on the car. 4 pieces on right now "header" the pipe that connects to it, then test pipe, then the other pipe that connects to the test pipe. Only thing left to be mounted is the muffler and the L pipe. I started it today and it sounds like a race car. It dont sound like any 420A it sounds really really deep makes a 4g64 sound week.
If I mount the rest of the exhaust and remove the packing in teh exhaust will it sound close to the same?

I would have to say that with any japanese car, there is going to be someone out there that thinks it is rice. The big question is if you like it. As for it staying that sound, if you clear out the packing, it should stay close to it. What changes your sound is your muffler. If you straight piped the exhaust all the way back w/no muffler, it would be kinda redneck to me, but if you like the sound then more power to ya. Just remember you will eventually have to drive this thing through a neighborhood somewhere, and if the cops don't like it, you will be tagged and harrassed for any little thing that you do. I've been there. I only wish that I had a muffler to hide my car screaming through the neighborhood at night.

Most exhaust systoms come with a fart can and their streight threw design which is best for power

First its an ebay exhaust, that makes you a ricer anyway. Not to mention it sounds like poop.

you're right, almost every exhaust for 4-bangers come with a fart can... but 1. ur exhaust is ebay, and 2. ur removing the packing out of the muffler... both crap, both ricer, too each is own i guess, but i dont understand why you keep askin for help well all ur threads become are arguments

Apex has come out with a muffler that a has a pressure valve in it so when you are are idling and not going full throttle it will direct the exhaust through the outer shell of the muffler through some filters so it sounds quiet as stock or quieter, but if you give it full throttle the valve will open up and send it straight through so you still get that power gain from a full flowing exhaust yet the quietness when you are just putting around. I know they make it catback for the Evo but I don't know if they have it just as the muffler or for other mits.

I hope you're not installing the exhaust just for the sound...I hope you're doing it for better performance..But how can you get that if you are buying E-bay "Apexi style" exhausts?

he is doing it just for sound, thats why he's putting on a test pipe and taking out the packing in the muffler
