its a plymouth laser 92 with 150k

alright well i need some opinion on this..

i dont want to spend more than 2k to get this thing running. im buying the car for 1k and all it needs is a new clutch (which i am getting for free from a warranty) and a new starter.  even if i have someone put both these in the car for me do you think that would run me over 1k?

what model is it because in 92 they came in 4 different ones

Base which is NT SOHC
RS which is NT DOHC
RS turbo which is FWD turbo
RS turbo AWD (self explanitory) haha

Depending on which you have will change the cost of the clutch replacement. But the starter replacement is usually around $300 including the part.

Haha not even close, you can get a 1gen awd for 1k.  I wouldn't pay more then $500.00 and that is if everything is in really good condition.

It would be well worth it to find one that suites you best online, then fly or drive down to get it. It sounds like resale value won't be a problem in your area.

Keep an eye for one on dsmtrader.com or ebaymotors.com, you'll find something on there.

thats like 2 out of the 3 dsm i found for sale near me so far that dont run.

i dont have the experience to fix anything myself...

Well you might want to buy one that runs first since your not to experienced.
