Programming a Garage Door Opener

As far as programming...clear it by holding down the two outer buttons until the LED flashes which lets you know when it's reset. Next (I would park the car away from your garage) take your garage door opener and put it about an inch away from the homelink, press the opener at the same time press whichever button you want to program (I did the middle), it will flash twice when it's programmed, it will also take up to a minute to program.
If you have a code jumping garage door opener, then you will have to hold the homelink button of your choice while pressing the garage door opener for a second...release the garage door opener...press the garage door opener again for a second...repeat until homelink is programmed. This part may take a good deal of time because you may have to try and program homelink more than 3 times, lol. Each time you try, you may want to reset homelink each time.

- reset homelink, press both remotes, wait till homelink LED flashes...done

with code hopping tech...
- reset homelink, press both remotes, wait a second and release garage remote only - immediately press again (don't release homelink button), do this until homelink LED flashes....done
