same internals with the execption of adding nonboost friendly pistons. The pistons are good for 8PSI which is about 320WHP but teh rods are prob good for over 500 they are the VR4 rods I belive

Well right now I have a 1999 eclipes spyder gs with a blown motor. But instead of putting another four valve because this would be the third one in it i wanted to drop a V-6 in it. So would a 2000 + V-6 fit in a 1999?

A 6g73 will fit, but you would be no better off than getting a 420a and putting that in because performance wise, they are pretty much the same....btw, the Avenger/Sebring has both motors and they both run 17seconds stock. So, yes a V6 will fit, that's not the issue though, performance is. This is the reason why I no longer have my 6g73, but instead I now have a 4g63.
