I got bored and read the thread about drifting right before this. So I ask, what car do you guys think would hold up best in a drift competition?

its not the car that makes a good drifter... its ALL about the driver.

Well I realize it's about the driver. But just like was stated in that previous thread, how fwd cars aren't good for drifting. The car does make some difference. I'm just asking people's opinion what they'd prefer to use in a drift. But you are right, I can't doubt that lol.

yes the car is a part of it too...alex phifer couldnt even drift their s2000 when they got it...but he could drift a stock 240 perfectly....im gonna say the AE86 Corolla is a pretty bitchen drift car.

my mr2 supposedly make a really good auto-x car. But i havnt even tried since im still getting comfortable with RWD.

i agree with david the 86 and 240sx are perfect for drifting, but i would love to have a JDM Chaser, big 4dr sedan looks sexy lol

I guess anything with 150hp and RWD and an LSD is good for drifting.

I said the 180sx, silva, not really the 86 because alot of driver lost the battle with the small amount of power that it produce.
