This is kind of old, but new here, lol.
I've got a few pics with my local DSM club with...what else but DSMs and I've got some with my EVO, SRT-4, and Subie buddies too. So, I thought, I'd pic whore a bit.[:D]

the burgandy\ maroon OZ GS front end is hurting for some paint. Some of those 1gs are really nice looking

Lol, yeah, there are A LOT of good sized speed bumps on the island. I've scraped on a few myself and that was going at it at an angle and going slower than 5mph. Hawaii is all about going slow[:@]

except for the highways lol. I am suprised how many DSMs are out there actually thats cool

The highest highway speed on Oahu is 60mph and a lot of people go slower than that, lol. On my way home from Walmart tonight (and on the way there), I FLEW by a bunch of cars pretty quickly! I thought I was speeding, then I remembered that I set my cruise to 60mph (55mph was the speed limit on the H1 highway). If anyone sees blue lights on the side of the road, they ALL slow down! I literally had to slalom in front of the cops, just to keep from hitting anyone doing only 55mph! Man, I miss the open roads of the "mainland", not to mention cold temps during the holidays, lol.

Arnt the highways like 5 lanes there too? Its getting really cold here now almost to the point where the car will not come out and play anymore

In some places, it doesn't matter though. There's just too many people on one island. Oahu is the biggest tourist island too. We have Honolulu, the North Shore, Waikiki, Pearl Harbor. So, you see, this is a tourist island :( The local gov't doesn't care about the people that live here, they care about the money that tourists bring in. That's why they could care less about the track closing and why there's more street racing going on. Sad, but I've only got 3.5 more years here, then it's back to Virginia for me, even Louisiana is better than here, for me anyway. I like the open roads and cold weather.

great pics! nice sized meet too...our last "DSM" meet had like 15 dsm's and like 10 other mitsubishis...but there was a total of 80 cars.

80 cars!! Wow, that's a lot of cars. The largest meet I've cruised in was about 30 cars with mixes of EVOs, Subies (old and new), an SRT-4, and me. I can't seem to convince the DSM guys to ride with the EVO and Subie guys, now that would be a hell of an AWD turnout!

oh yes...im actually organising a 2nd anual all missouri mitsubishi meet for april....i will try to get some pics of past gatherings for you.
