Hey everybody I am just wondering what it is going to take for me to get a turbo up and running in a 2003 v6 and what times it should run? I have about $5500 i am willing to drop into the car for the turbo and I know the kit is $3500 but what else am I going to need besides tuning to get it working properly? I will already have done headers, CAI, catback, and a tune (or is it not worth it with out some serious mods like a turbo) Thanks for any posts that are worth something.

wont be able to use the headers,cai and go to tearstone.com for the turbo kit.

tearstone kit on stock motor will run 8PSI as long as your a GT if your a GTS it will be less cause the motor has weaker pistons.

8 PSI will get you 320HP and run mid\low 13s if you need more then you NEED pistons first.

CAI Hearders and tune WILL all be changed with a turbo. so you can re sell the headers and the CAI and maybe what ever you are using to tune with as well. the tearstone stuff all together will run you about $5500 all said and done needing nothing further to run 8PSI.

dont forget these turbo kits dont come with gauges of any kind or a clutch and you will need both

i'm not sure what all comes with the tearstone kit but does it come with any kind of engine management? if not, you will need one.

it comes with the greddy Emanage. you need to buy gauges and a clutch... if it were me id also look at LSD motor mounts and some good tires too
