Hey guys. My last turbo (16G) ate some debris, and I have just about enough money saved up for a new one. My question is, which turbo would you get? the 16g or t28. I know the t28 makes alittle less power, but does it have any advantages over the 16g, like more low end power, or less lag time?

Big T28 has slightly less lag
Big T28 bolts right up to stock IC
Big T28 does not have any boost creep issues (that i know of)
Evo III 16g is cheaper

Damn, why are t-28's so expensive? I figured around $650-700, but $900? Looks like I'll be getting another 16g..

Thanks Sebba.

The BigT-28 has an "ported" option for $95, and a 16g has a option for a "clipped" turbine wheel. What do these mean exactly?

Porting makes the holes bigger for the exhaust inlet... masically just reduces spool time. Clipping however actually removes mass from the turbine wheel to reduce rotational mass... to try and achieve the same goal.
