You dont hear a click?

Check all the fuses in the car. (there is one inside the car located right next to the clutch pedal)

thx for the fast reply u think it may be a fuse? rest of the car has power could it be someting with a factory alarm?

No i doubt that. Dude do you hear a click from under the hood when you turn the key or not? Check the fuses too.

sebba, back to your old trick in not reading the first post entirely, HAHA.

Sounds like a starter to me. I know your gonna say, well how can it just not work that quickly. Well thats how it happened with me to. In the morning car drove....in the afternoon car didnt start. I would still start with the fuse but if that does turn up anything then the next place i think is the starter.

checked all the fuses they look fine tell me how did u sart with the fuse? hep fustrated

nutz -> RE: help car wont start!! (12/8/2006 9:25:16 AM)

also how can utell if its the starter and if so are they expensive? are they easy to change?

TheEngineer -> RE: help car wont start!! (12/8/2006 11:53:13 AM)

if none look blown then its not a fuse. The best way really to tell if its the starter is to check the voltages. But im pretty sure thats what it is. Actually before replacing the starer itself. You might want to try the starter solenoid since its alot cheaper and an easier fix. Ive seen alot of people that had that happen to them

If there is no click then its the starter solenoid. Either that or something in your ignition is not sending power to it.
