the DejonPowerhouse intercooler is a cheaper alternative at $499 you get a quality product for a very very fair price.

go to www.dejonpowerhouse.com
Click DSM
Then over on the right, click the 12th thing down, which is the 3rd thing in the 2nd gen section. it says Frontmount IC & pipes. and its the first item listed

OK let me clarify what i think about ebay intercoolers. I said that the cores are good. Thats means just the intercooler. I would never trust any piping, which from both posted, i dont trust. And i would never trust that the hardware would be good. Because sebba, obviously it is not a real greddy type-rs. It is a cheap knockoff and the couplings and the hoses look like **** too. Then getting it to mount correctly will probably be a custom job as well. And the $500 core that they sell on dejon you could get on ebay cheaper and it would still do the trick. But it really is up to you which you want.

I agree with you. I have an import tuner magazine that has an article about knock offs and it had a pic of a greddy type rs with the knock off next to it and the knock off they took of the top and was some rubber o-rind type deal and it was torn and ripped but the greddy was still in perfect condition. I also heard some pretty bad things about the cores from some people that work on my car

well right now NESpeed on here has an rx-7 that has a single to4r turbo and he is running a $200 ebay FMIC and he made his own piping and it works fine.
