Always start with the basics. Inspect the plugs for wear (be sure you use the original NGK dual electrode plugs if it calls for it). Look at each plug wire boot inside and outside looking for evidence ignition arc. Pay attention to number 2 cylinders. In my experience with Mitsubishi, you'll probably find your problems here. Factory OEM parts work best for an unmodified engine or engines with minor modification- i recommend you use em. Joel, CA Diamond Star Technician
