Just bought a V6 eclipse convertable.
Washer pump went out a week later.

No manuals with the car, nothing.

Is there a fuse for the washer pump? Is the only fuse box the one under the hood?

And who do you guys use to get parts?

Thanks in advance for any help.

For that pump you should be able to get it anywhere at any local parts store (autozone, ect.) And there should be two fuses boxes like most cars. One under the hood and another in the car that is on the left panel next to the pedals. What year eclipse?

Thanks for the reply.
Car is a 2001.
I looked for a fuse panel by the outside wall of the drivers compartment under the dash, and didnt see a fuse box near the peddles, But I will look again.

All of the pumps I have found are generic: two loose wires to splice into the harness.
I would rather just buy one that comes with the correct plug and plug it in, rather than deal with the potential problems of jumpering one in to the harness.

Call me anal.

regards,

I think the best way to get one that will have the harness is to get one at a junk yard. try here http://car-part.com/ or just call some junk yards. But im sure youll find one

The 2nd fuse box is on the driver side. Once you open the door, look on the side of the dash. There's a pull away panel piece that has a handle groove with Fuse box written on it in the handle groove. It will have a fuse puller and a couple spare fuses on the pull away panel. Good luck with your pump.
