why a stock EVO VIII BOV.. what car are you looking to put it in?  the VIII BOV is a POS it leaks very easily it only holds 17 PSI

a 96 tsi, and i dont wanna spend 100 or more on an aftermarket bov, the evo can handle more boost the the tsi's can so why not, im not lookin for more then 15lbs... not even that much

Yeah, as long as it's the metal EVO bov, it holds a lot better than the plastic 2G bov which is exactly like the EVOs (except for the metal part anyway, lol) and it's a direct bolt on

EVO VIII is plastic and is worthless.  I have one but I wouldnt even want to sell it. cause it is more worth it for you to get either the IX or the JDM MR DV.  cause the JDM mr editions had metal BOVs and they are good you can find those quite commonly for $50-$80

Say, so long to the 1G bov mod in 2Gs
Ok, not really, the 1Gs are pretty good for being as old as they can be.
