Hey, I bought a new vehicle w/ an aftermarket Pioneer head unit,  It's a great unit, however, the guy hooked it up manually w/o any type of kit.  (on my old car i had a kit that had harnesses, none here.) Just looks like he clamped all the wires together.  The unit works great, however, it resets it's self every time I turn off the car.  I was asking around and heard that the memory wire isn't hooked to the power/battery wire.  Though, I was doing some research online and read that the memory and battery wire are the same wire.

Any suggestions?  I think i'm going to go try to hook up different wires and see what happens, but i'm not sure if that'll blow a fuse or what-not so any help would be much appreciated/  thanks.
