Tomorrow I'm going to pick a Garrett T3 T4 57trim from a friend. He said there's only 3,000 miles on it no shaft play. He said he will sell it to me for 300. Does that sound like a good deal or should I hold off. Right now I have a 16g. Would it be a good upgrade or should I save up more and buy something bigger. Its on a turbo gsr right now

its better than a 16G but do you need a manifold and o2 housing and Downpipe to bolt it in.   maybe a external waistgate too

I knew I had to get the manifold and external waste gate and o2 housing. I have a downpipe already. Will it bolt up to the downpipe. Also what kind of power can I get out of that

well its definetly a huge upgrade. But one thing to find out also is what is the a/r of that turbo because just saying its a 57 trim doesnt tell you. And for hp i think those can go up to around 500hp

That sounds good..  What supporting mods are you running already with your 16g?

I have a walboro 255 fuel pump, evo 8 intercooler, intake 3" turbo back exhaust and safc-II. I'm just gonna buy the turbo and put to the side and save and buy more parts. I'm just buying it since I think its a really good deal
