I have 60k miles on my 1999 Mitsubishi Galant V6, I'm just wondering when I would need to do the timing belt change at? Would 100k be stretching too far?

thanks

Fed stands for a Federal Spec Galant.  If your not in California then you most likely have a Federal Spec Galant which should say in your owners manual (check it) that you will not need to change it for 100,000 miles.  I have a California spec Galant so I can't be 100% sure on this but most my friends at www.galantforms.com have Federal Spec Galants.  So joing the board and ask away I am sure that someone there can give you a 100% for sure answer.  In my opnion I would go ahead and do it at 60,000 just to be safe.  Well good luck and hopefuly I will see you on www.galantforms.com

Thanks for the quick response!
I have a Cal spec Galant too. I tried to go to the link you gave me, but it doesn't seem to work.  I thought you might have spelled the link wrong, so I even tried www.****, but it didn't work either.

Nevermind, it works now
