On turbo eclipses if you vent to the atmosphere what modifications do you need to do to the mafs so the car runs normal again and not rich.97 GST

You need to get a GM MAF and a translator for the 2Gs.  At that point you can remove your stock MAF and run just a straight pipe and you can vent trouble free.

Whatever is the cheapest but yet decent. I just bought a 97 GST so yeah first dsm. I was just wondering. How much would the GM MAF and translators cost? Its not bad for the engine/turbo to vent right?

That combo will run you around $300 and it makes it alright to vent the bov without running rich.  Without it, your car may idle bad and you'll run rich when you shift.  These motors were designed to run recirculated and it's one of those things that do more bad than good if vented.  Using a GM MAF+T will help if you really want to VTA.  It's one of those "is it worth it?" mods.  My bov is pretty loud being recirc'd.  I also have hard piping and an aftermarket filter.
Oh yeah, a stand alone starts at ~$1100.

Yeah i thought about it more and i think ill just stick with recirculating. And go with a Greddy Type RS, that can recirculate right as it comes correct?

there are alot of different BOV's that can recirculate. So i would do some searching and make sure you get a bov that you are gonna like the sound of. Cuz personally i dont like the greddy
