your gonna find it hard to find alot of aftermarket on that car too because its still new

One thing the fella's with the new Eclipse's that they want to mod out should remember, If you have a factory warranty (36/36 bumper to bumper, or in some cases the 100k powertrain), you really should'nt be ****ing with the car with anything that could potetially void the warranty.
Unless of course, you have the money to fix it all yourself.
But then again, who would really want to buy a $4,000 engine that they could have maybe gotten free?
Not me.

ripp mods has been around for a long time as well.  although I did at one time do alot of research into there stages for the 3G eclipses and there were alot of complaints I read about with problems with the grey\black box for tuning and belt slipiing boost spiking and blowing motors ect ect

anyone who is doing extensive mods to a car like this is likly speding $4k on turboing it anyway and see breaking it as a chance to upgrade and they most of the time have money to do so.  otherwise they wouldnt have talken the risk.  Why do you think my EVO is modded to its point I dont want to blow it up ...Yet... but there is going to be some more mods added to the list for this summer so I should have all the supporting mods ready for a nice turbo upgrade

You can have a fast car be street legal. my 2g had a  FP t28 on it with about 360 HP, it was fast. I have a friend that has a 97 TSI AWD, hes pushing 600hp, its street legal..

there was an act past awhile back that states a car company can not void warenty if you put some after market parts on. The car company has to prove the after market part was harmful to the car. If you put a CAI on your car and the tranny goes out. Its not related, so the car company can not void the warrenty. Now if you put a FP green on your car and you blow a rod out the sideof your eengine, your screwed. but cat back, cai, headers, are pretty safe

Ripp mods SC is better than the roots style SC, like Stillens, they tend to heat up the air more and produce less HP. Alpine SC makes the roots style.
