Does anybody else think these OEM tires are sheer crap? In dry they're ok. In heavy wet they aren't bad either. But in drizzle and especially 40deg or less they slide and lock up on moderately hard braking. They've already cost me $3000 in repairs because the front just plowed when I did a left turn at about 20mph and hit the curb at 45deg angle. bent the A-arm and drive 1/2 shaft and destroyed the rim etc. I can plow the front on an on-ramp even. Basically the tires have miserable lateral grip.
Anyone else concur?

man that should have never broke like that. maybe you are right the tire is probbably too soft.. im running 225/45/17's on the srt and have driven on potholes which i know are equivalent to hitting a curb on somae cases and i never had a problem. and the outlanders sidewall is alot taller than 45
