Yeah very weird. It didnt sound the same on the second rev though... hmmm.

The reason i said it looked like coolant was because it was the same thick looking smoke... but your right.. its not white. Looks like there is something else there.

I really dont know what to make of it...

h needs to get a smell of it.  I cant tell if its the oil or if it is fuel

alright that second kinda bouncy rev, i was like uhhh fluttering the gas kinda im not sure. But it doesnt sound right. It does have a cat tho, it was put on by the dealership 2 days after we bought it. I mean, the talon used to let out black smoke, but it was BLACK and no where near that thick

isnt oil blue though? Depending on what kind of oil i guess...hmmmmm

Compression test?

You may be right with the boost leak.

yea oil=blue as far as i know

If there was a leak between the BOV and BOV flange would that cause the smoke? just out of curiosity

It would cause it to run rich.. how ever im not entirely sure that is whats happening here...

its my gaurdians evo. So wtf is going on? ive never seen smoke like that. Im soooo lost now.

I cant go smell it yet.lol. I need to wait till tomorrow. Only thing that comes to mind is Thick white smoke(coolant) + thin black smoke (rich)= Thickish brown smoke
