Since we're on the subject of EVO fuel pumps.  Isn't the EVO9 pump close to 250?  It pumps more than a 190lph?...right?

Back on track.  It will never hurt you or your turbo car to have a TT, lazy or not.  It's $100 for a little peace of mind on days where you are running a little on the late side.  It's a matter of pulling up the brake, taking out your keys, getting out and locking your doors...done, just like any other car, except for the fact that your car is still running and you don't have to do anything extra or unusual.  Buy a harness (like and aftermarket radio harness) and it's plug and play...literally.  I don't think a TT is a waste of money, at all.
Theft...no issues really, as long as you wire up the e-brake wire.  Once that is released, the car shuts off (if it's on that is) and it will automatically shut of when the time is done of course.

I'm a little late, but I say buy it.

yes the IX pump is better not sure what it pumps lph but they say you can leave that in there and d bolt on and a tune.  The VIII has had quite a few fail on people causing huge trouble and they dont pump very much.  I still have the stocker in there for now but I only tune with the cheezy SAFCII.  Ill be getting a pump before summer since my car sits right now it doesnt matter

as i said earlier, mines is linked to my security system. I've been thinking of getting a regular timer. how hard do u think it is to implement an aftermarket timer when there is already one linked to the car alarm??

I don't see there being an issue since a TT is a seperate item.  You can still arm the alarm and lock your doors.  Now Mike, you already have a TT feature, in your case, I wouldn't buy one unless you feel that a TT would be more convenient for you.
A TT would still be a plug and play for you though Mike.

That's cool. I wish my turbo timer had a kill-switch hooked up to the ebrake.

But for a smart theif, could you just let the e-brake all the way down but one click, and drive away?
