Hello,

I have an 04 Montero Sport. It has the two rails on the top, which do me no good, really. I want to be able to put a canoe on top, is there any kind of rack that can fit the top of the 04 MS?

I have a feeling something will have to be specially made for it to work. Any ideas or things you guys have done?

Yakima and Thule make brackets that attach to the existing rack bars. For the Yakima I think the brackets are called "Lowriders".
