I have a 2001 Galant. What is the trick in getting the lamp socket to pull off the headlamp??? I have tried every
conceivable motion.
      I was told there was a nut on the back of the rectangular socket housing that had to be removed first, but the back
of the housing is flat. Then there was the "push and twist" advice. No luck there either.
      Once that is off I am told there is a spring clip that needs to be opened. That part sounds simple.
      Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!
