There used to be a guy with an SRT-4 that posted here. Think he got pissed and left though. His was highly moded though. They look like they are pretty quick, but I have not seen one run. I would like to know what a stock one could do.

When I first bought my 04 SRT I took it to the local track to see what it would run stock before I started adding mods, she ran 13.8 at 99.6mph on street tires. Be careful when it comes to running with one they are what people consider a "sleeper" they pack 230hp and 250lbs torque off the showroom floor. They come standard with alot of aftermarket parts like the 2 1/2 exhaust no mufflers, intercooler,LSD,and a built drive train dump the clutch in this bitch and hold on they keep boost at 16psi all the way to redline then drop to around 14psi. I personally have around $5500-6000 in my car right now and im pushing around 415hp at the flywheel and around 385 hp at the front tires and running around 11.97-11.98 in the quarter and if you saw her on the street she would look completely stock, I would suggest if your going to try and run one it would be smart not to run one if you are running a stock car, Im not trying to hype these cars up just because i own one but ive owned a few sport compacts in my time that werent push overs and I must say Dodge got their **** together and put a car out that will beat alot of the the sport compacts on the street today right off the showroom floor. If you get the chance you should go to your dodge dealer and take one for a test drive, you will be amazed!

mustang gt's are slow stock 15sec car. thats why a 14sec car would win.
im not saying that the srt4 is slow 14sec stock is pretty good.but the guy was making it sound like they were untouchable. i have ran up against alot of them and have won,now im not stock either.but most of the people that buy them are like the evo and sti owners they just leave them stock, cause there pretty quick.until you run up against someone who has modded there car.

Not to magazine race or anything, but GT's have been mid 14 second cars since the mid 80's.
