hey just wondering if it is possible to convert my sl NA 5spd to 4wd, i don't want to swap out the engine, i will swap tranny if needed but i want to keep a 5spd cause i heard a 6spd on a NA hurts it a lot. i thought i read someplace that ever where else the NA was 4wd except for the US versions so could i import stuff and do the swap and what parts will i need besides rear axle and driveshaft.

You have to weld in the attachment points of the rear subframe..the whole subframe..  You'd have to get a transmission/transfer case/transaxle that supports whatever rear end you bolted in...ie. 5 speed or 6 speed.  You'd have to disable the AWS.  People have done it, and most that have will tell you in the long run it is more economical to just buy an AWD car.
