ok i have my turbo out and some pipes to get my oil return line problem fix and i see some oil in the intercooler......i was wondering if there is a way to clean all the oil out of the intercooler...can i like fill it up with water or stuff that eats grease..anyone ever done this

Only thing ive ever heard people doing, I havnt done it myself...  But they clean there intercooler with gasoline...     Maybe someone else has done this around here, but thats the only thing ive heard it being cleaned with..

so anyone else throw there 2 cents in about cleaning the intercooler with gasoline...
Is this the only way.to do it

i personally dont think i wouldnt do it, but thats just me, i would run some 50% rubbinb alcohol and 50% water mix through it

No,  but for cleaning, the grade does  not matter.  Even if the gas didn't evaporate and it found it's way into the intake, that tiny amount won't hurt, so, any grade will work.
