yeah, and that whole free healthcare thing is awsome.

Nothing comes free in this world my friend. We pay big for it, trust me.
And Canada Post is not that bad either. Just like USPS I would say. It does the job.
We get screwed big time with the car prices though and then big sales taxes (14% in Ontario) on top of big purchase prices. Did you say something about free healthcare?
Just for illustration, at today's exchange rate, Honda CRV EX AWD $32,600 CAD (aprox 27,750 USD), RAV4 Sport V6 AWD $33,600 CAD (aprox $28,600 USD). Thanks God, Mitsu priced the Outlander reasonably. The LS 4WD w/Convenience Package, which is identical with the base LS 4WD US specs, is $28,250 CAD (aprox. $24,050 USD).

yeah, but like me, Im a contractor by trade, and therefore, if I want insurance, i gotta pay like 350, or 400 a month for coverage, not to mention, tack on another 200 or 300 for the family plan, since my wife doesnt work, and we have 3 kids, with another on the way,
basically thats like 550, to 700 a month for insurance, I cant afford that, so we do without, that sucks, (luckily two of the kids have insurance through their bio-father) but the rest of us gotta do without cause the cost of family coverage is the same regardless of whether theres 2, or 10.
that sucks,
in canada, everyone gets insurance, no matter what, not to mention, the medical companies dont jack up their prices on the meds people need. your government sets a price it will pay, and thats the end of it. Here, we get overcharged, sued for going out of the country for medication, and then if our insurance has a drug co-pay, they only cover the generic drugs, and then it still cost like 20 bucks. Dont even dream of trying to get your medications if you cant get the generic, then its like 90, or 100 dollars for you "half" of the bill.
thats just out-rageous
