HAHA wowwww really??????? awesome!!! so we are looking at a 2mill car VS. 30k supra TT, 50k invested making it apx 1000whp, and then you can buy a 4 seater Sesna plane for about 30k... i do believe it's still a rip off... lol

well its not necessarily about how fast it goes, but what you own. i mean, sure, owning a supra would be sweet, but there are enough of those around. but how many people can say they own a bugatti veyron?

The wreckedexotics.com made me tear up  little.

"2006 Corvette C6"
"Mechanic on a test drive to diagnose a "rattle", but gets a little over exuberant and fishtails into a curb, then flips the car in front of an Acura dealership."

Reminded me of South Park:
"Surprise! Its an Acura cake!"
"I don't want a damn Acura cake, I wanted a Ferarri cake!!!!"

Come on RCJ. That is possibly the dumbest thing i have EVER heard you say.

Think about it. The Veyron has had billions invested into the design of it. It is not only built for speed but it is build for comfort and stability. Not to mention it is built to be strong as hell... basically intended to last for 10s of years.

Think of how hard it is to make a car feel stable at 200mph? Think of how hard it would be to make 1000hp on a smooth torque curve/smooth power delivery and have all the rest of the parts like tranny, clutch, driveshaft etc all be able to handle that power through the cars entire life.

Also, the engine was th first of its kind. Imagine how much it would have costed to engineer something like that? Not just to engineer a revolutionary engine... but to make it work and perform to the best of its ability in terms of power and reliability... that is something you just dont see every day.. and defenatly not something you can get from a supra.

Im sorry but i 100% dissagree with you. I mean, the car itself cost about 5 million dollars to manufacture and build.. and they are selling it for less than half that... taking a huge loss. That to me is what i call dedication. The true desire to do something great to the automotive industry and not trying to make a profit... that is something you will never see again i guarentee you.

Sure you can make a 1000hp supra... but they are incredibly difficult to drive, they dont have spectacular 0-60 time and they have traction problems. Not to mention you dont get the luxury element with the Supra. Although it is a fantastic car and has earned its place in automotive history... you just cant compare the 2.

Its 1.6 million for a reason... not just because it has a pretty badge.

Think before you say such utterly retarded things.
