the 2g style was probably by far the best. i hated the 3g (ugliest car on the road imo). i needed reliability so i went w an 07. ill admit it was not love at first sight but once you get inside it, it grows on you. the aftermarket for it is sooo slow right now. hopefully it bangs in the next year or two.

I'm pretty sure that when the 3rd gen was designed, all the male designers at Mitsubishi called in sick and their wives took their places for a day, than happened to design the most femine 2 door in history.

If that doesn't make you feel gay I don't know what does!? lol. I love my 3G except for the 2 gay racing stripes down the center of it (whoever had my car last needs hit in the face cause they mistreated it). I'm fixing her up right though! And just for the record, I'm a V6 kinda guy, I do not accept any 4 banger crap!!!  In my personal opinion the 2G AND 3G are the best looking, the 4G body styling has a REALLY ugly rear end... WAY too round in my opinion.

well if you look at it......you would see that 4 bangers would hang V6 cars out to dry.....i dont think the guys that i raced with the v6 eclipse would say v6 beat a 4 banger.....4 does the job...no need for all the bigger engines

I love the 4g, its just a rounder version of the 2g, its clear that mitsubishi realized that the 3g had not too much to do with the 2g (thats why they redesigned it as the ss targa concept)). I wouldn't give it that much crap in your place, there far more uglier cars on the market lately (and not lately).
