Sorry to tell you, but your not supposed to mix the clear coat and the paint. Your supposed to apply the paint first. Then add the clear coat over it. What kinda paint are you using BTW?

He's not SUPPOSSED to mix em.... but he did..... im really kinda curious as it how it turns out... haha, clear is stupidly fragile at times.... it may crack... or it might just be the perfect paint... who knows

what in God's name did you do to that intake?  does it have another filter down where the cold air filter is suposed to be?     I was thinking the same thing about the paint but i'm not a genious when it comes to paint so i didn't want to open my mouth and sounds stupid.

i doesnt matter if he has a another airfilter at the end of that......that airfilter is just sucking in the heat from the headers....not a good idea

and would a car act weird with that much air being suck in....the engine

What exactly is going on in that engine bay? What appears to be 2 filters... whats the story with the braided aluminum tube there?

OOOOK i have time to post now..the deal with the intake i was bored and thought id try a dual intake just to see if it would work..it was on there for like a week..it does work..only problem it ****s up your idle, soo i was idleing at like 2krpm all the time ...and back to the paint..i DIDN'T mix the 2 togeather..i went over it with some red spray paint then went over it again with less clear..but what i was trying to say was..i didn't use as much clear coat as i did spray paint and i was wondering was that why it started to chip like 5 months after i put it on..or if that normally the about of time that it will last
