what kind of roof rack you want? Mitsu has some items in their aftermarket catalogue but they are overpriced rebadged items from one of the other big names. Thule stuff as I recall. IMO if you're going to rebadge somebody else's stuff then it should be CHEAPER or at least the same. Manufacturers have a lot of nerve...

I did buy the after market racks, they were not only horrible looking, but the made a whistle sound, I brought them back. Still cant find anything that looks good.

Get the X towers to mount up the racks .
The catalog calls for lowriders but they dont fit , I tried.

They are called low riders and I had em .
they dont fit.
called Yakima and they said that the lowriders are the ones they recommend .
Like I said the lowriders do not fit , Yakima Cust Serv. has been misinformed .
the lowriders fit the flat bottom top round style exsisting roof racks , as our outlanders are round w/a outside diam. of about 2" much like the XTerra, therfore , the X towers are the ones .
Im buying a set for my outlander and will post a response for all once installed.
