ok i got a 97 gst, and the blinker is messed up on it. ok heres what going on. i bought the car from the dealer a few days ago, which everything works on it except for the blinkers and the dealer said it was just a fuse and he didnt have one on hand. well i put the fuse in and the blinker just flashes to the left on any setting, left, right, off....it just stays on and flashes left....but the flashers do work fine. does anyone have a clue whats going on? is it the switch or a relay?

Sounds like the contact on the switch is broken.  If the contact broke loose, it may have fallen onto the contact for the left turn signal.  This would cause it to blink no matter what position the turn signal arm is in.  I would see if you can get into the switch without having to remove the steering wheel to fix it.

something along these lines happened to me in my old accord.   my right blinker would stay on alllll the time but i couldn't move my blinker arm at all.   i had to have the whole arm replaced.   it was like 115 bucks.

Hey, I had the same issue too.  Turns out I had some debris in my turn lever.  I removed it without taking the steering wheel off by taking off the shroud and there are two (I think) screws that are easily removed because they point down.  I opened the turn signal housing and the piece dropped out, I put it back on and presto.
If your issue IS with the signal box, that's easy to replace too.  You will have to remove the center console and the radio since it's right behind the radio.

Probably could be it.... but ill have to search further, i mean, i took out the turn lever as well (i dunno if its the same for yours) but it had this white box with two buttons one at the top and one at the bottom, i fooled around with it, tore it apart and then put it back together and noup... ill re-do it this weekend... any way to know if the signal box is working right? perhaphs some multimeter reading on it?

Well, I would say that if the turn lever isn't moved and you're getting the turn signal light in either direction or both, then it's most likely the turn signal relay box.  If the lever itself is stuck in the turn position, then it's most likely jammed with something.  Those things are pretty inexpensive so it may be easier just to replace them.  A junk yard may be a good source for them too.
There's only one difference to the lever between the Avenger (both 420a and 6g73 motored cars) and Eclipse (either motor) and that's the plug.  I still have a spare lever from my Avenger and the one I have in the car now is from a 95 GSX.  They both drop into the column but the Avenger lever won't plug in.

I had two because I thought my lever was just shot, but in fact it had a piece from somewhere in there break and it was jamming the lever movement.  It would either get stuck during a turn or it wouldn't move, lol.
