I dunno. I assumed it was an amp. Its the thing the radio hooks up to underneath the passenger seat.

What are you talking about? There is nothing under there....There isnt a stock amp and if there was why would they put it under the seat? Pictures?

yea, definatly need pics.   there is no stock amp in a 2nd gen as far as i know.   do you have an aftermarket cd player?  i put my alpine brain/amp underneath my passenger seat when i had my alpine flip/touch screen but there's nothing there stock.

The 3g is the only one with the Infinity stock amp under the pass. seat... or so I thought

With the stock infiniti system there is an amp under the passenger seat. I doubt it came in the lower rs or gs models. It defently comes in the gsx model though.
