So I was killing some time the other day looking through my owner manual when I see some odd fuse descriptions that made me think I was missing something:

Engine Compartment Fuse Box

#6 - Headlight washer
#10 - Wiper deicer
#12 - Power gate

Not sure if the editor missed these before publication   Be interested to see what the FSM says, if anything.

I'm not sure what your question is.
Those fuse descriptions are pretty self explanitory IMO.
-Headlight washer fuse is a fuse for the headlight squirters, just like the ones for the windshield.  These are common in Mercedes, BMW, Infinity, Lexus, etc.
-Wiper deicer is for a fuse that helps warm the wipers in winter conditions or for when your windshield ices up.  Have you ever had a stuck windshield wiper because of ice?  Does the same thing as a seat warmer.
-Power gate is for an automated rear door gate.  Minivans made this popular.

More than likely on outlanders in other countries. But to make 40 different fuse boxes would be a waste of time. They mass produced them all to be useable on every outlander and then just use the ones needed for that country/model. If that makes sense.

Yeah, more goodies we don't have.  My point - the descriptions are contained in the Canada/US Owner Manual which obviously did not get edited out prior to printing.  No question, no concerns, just an observation while I was bored.
