LOCK IT UP.IMMA HONDA KILLER> You are totally naive if you think that turbo's are for pussies. And just so you know your really gonna get flamed for that one. Maybe you should do some research and learn about them before you say dumbass crap like that. NO2 i kinda agree, i dont really like the idea of it, nor to i believe in using it, but turbcharging is incredibly efficient and not something that is for the beginner tuner. And if you think your gonna get alot out of that car without forced induction, or think you can do better without FI then your ignorant. The 6g72 is a great motor, just not something that youll benefit going all-motor with

if you have an opinon like that, keep it to yourself. you are in a forum full of ppl that have turbo's and you come in here w/ that kind of crappy attitude... just about any person in here w/ a turbo'd eclipse will walk ur car even when it's built.

you will never get out of the 14s with an all motor 3G eclipse. They make hardly any power on bolt ons.. youll ge to about 210WHP and thats about where it will end unless you got a HUGE banck accout and een still my little turbo motor will freaking make it look stupid

My GT is all motor and my TSi will slap it around like a red headed step child. ALL day... You might not wanna mention the turbo/**** thing again, guy. RCjr is right, 90% of us have forced induction cars, and last I checked most of them are running close to if not under 10s. Which, the GT and GTS are NOT really capable of sans a turbo or supercharger. It seems to me that you may just think this due to a lack of funding?

Actually, non FI in the GT motor of a 2000 is capable of pushing close *not as efficiently as a turbo* to the same power if compared to a small turbo. A lightened flywheel, performance clutch, cat back exhaust, CAI w/Performance intake manifold+TB, Headers, Fuel Injectors, Fuel Pump, Spark plugs+Spark Cables. I have done research and debated both, the main reason I prefer turbo is you can get better gas mileage on your car if you want to by not using the boost but rather letting the TC condense your air and cool it off for ya while reusing any unburned fuel that is emitted as exhaust, and you can use a TC with Stock internals and push it's limits or Build the internals and crank up the PSI to exceed and pretty well double the stock Horse.
