I have a 93 vr4. lately the oil was going low every couple of weeks. now the last few days the boost gauge wasnt hitting the full 14 psi in second gear at 4500 rpm's. I inspected the turbos and pipes and found that the rear turbo has oil build up around the oil feed line. I removed the rear turbo pipe and found oil inside the hard pipe that comes forward from the rear. I've never owned a turbo vehichal before, but that just doesnt look right. should I rebuid the turbo? isnt the charged air supposed to be clean? Does anyone have a good source for rebuild kits and/or procedure guides?

You can get a used turbo pretty cheap on www.3si.org  It looks like you really need a rebuild but I know a guy that can rebuild your turbo and also upgrade your turbines as well.  When my turbos were bad I had him rebuilt it and bored it to fit the 15G's turbines in there.  Boost very well and makes good power.

Basically I sent in my 9Bs stock turbos to them.  They bored it and fit the 15G wheels in there.  So the turbo housings are still 9Bs and it direct fit with the stock turbo manifolds and intercoolers.  It cost me $700 but it's a great upgrade to td04 15G's for that price.  I just had my turbos on the car for only 500 miles with my set up, and they're nice.  In a month, if I couldn't find a good shell I will try to sell my set up, if you're interested, let me know or I can help you get a hold of the person that did the upgrade for me.

To see if you're interested in my set up:
Two TD04 15g's
SAFCII with wires
560cc Evo 8 Injectors
Walbro 255LPH fuel pump
Front Mounter Incooler Pipings
Greddy Type S blow off valve
Autometer Boost guage
Autometer narrow band A/F guage
IPS 3" downpipe with cats eliminated
gutted rear precat
3" custom exhaust
