all mitsu manuals are on CD, but in the case of electrical diagrams they also make that suppliment, as its easier to transport during repair.
it ONLY contains electrical diagrams, locations, etc.  There is no other service information in there.

Would 125$ justify the price for the CD? A little bit pricey for me.

Depends on what you are using it for - if you do your own maintenance or you like to modify/addon electrical items/toys, etc., its invaluable.  If you want it just to say you have it or to learn more about how your vehicle is put together, etc., well then to each their own whether they think the price is justified.

If you are really into diagnosing your own vehicle, then you also need the wicked Mits MUT-III Scan tool.  More than just a code reader, it also allows you to reprogram the ECU and do all kinds of funky analysis.  However, it is expensive - SPX quoted me $4,900 for the hardware and $1,200 for the software since I am just a regular aftermarket consumer and not a dealership or repair shop.

Myself, I'm a bit of a techno junkie and like to do as much of my own maintenance as possible (not to mention the closest stealer is 2 hours aways) - but its just a hobby - I doubt I could justify a purchase of the tool for purely economic reasons (i.e. in terms of cost savings over the life of the vehicle), bu that said I am still considering purchasing the tool (I just need to figure out how to not let the wifey find out!)

Re: the expensive tool.
On some of the more frequently modified cars (performance), like my old eclipse/talon or Audi, you will find people who develop aftermarket software and connectors that will emulate these expensive tools.  Google "VAG ross-tech" to see the Audi version, which runs about $300 and emulates a couple thousand dollar VAG tool.  Might take some time, and may never happen with this style of car.  Although maybe the evo or eclipse community has something we can use?
