I have a 96 3kgt and i was wondering if there is any way to make it rear wheel drive. now i have th sl model fwd and i dont really like the front wheel and was just wondering if there was a possiblity id either go all wheel or rear wheel and id like rear wheel. just seems easier to drive for me not to sure on a 3000 tho. Plus itd be unquie. if anyone knows anything let me know

Hmph, I always thought that 3kGTs were awd OR rwd... something about them... damn....

No Dusty, they were FWD and AWD. Transverse mounted engine FTL. Yes Sebba, there was a guy that welded the VCU (I think that is what he welded) and removed the front axles to make his 3kgt RWD...an exercise in futility in my opinion. There are 2 RWD Stealths that I know of, although I'm sure there are more. One was an ES, he fabbed up a live axle and a 440 from some old Chrysler. The other was a VR-4 (changed the front to look like a Stealth), tube frame front end. He used the stock VR4 rear end.
